Hailey Wilson, LPC, NCC

Hailey Wilson, MS, LPC, NCC is a licensed professional counselor and psychotherapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families. She is passionate about creating a safe, empowering space where every thought is honored, every feeling counts, and authentic expression is celebrated. Hailey supports developing minds navigating big emotions, trauma, family-related stressors, athletic performance, and the challenges that come with growing up in a complicated modern world. Grounded in a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, she guides young people in discovering the resilience and abilities embedded within them, using these as a foundation for growth, confidence, and meaningful change. Through a combination of attachment-based, somatic, play, and art-based methods, Hailey tailors therapy to meet children and teens where they are, in ways that feel safe, supportive, and engaging.

Hailey believes that meaningful and effective therapeutic work thrives within trusting relationships. She prioritizes collaboration with caregivers and chosen supports, recognizing the crucial role they play in a child’s growth and healing. Hailey’s approach is warm, attuned, and affirming, with an emphasis on building healthy coping skills, emotional awareness, and a sense of safety within themselves and in their relationships.

Hailey earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marquette University, with specialization in Child and Adolescent Counseling. At Marquette, Hailey participated in research focusing on applied behavior analysis for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. During her graduate studies, Hailey was awarded the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grant and the Qualified Treatment Trainee (QTT) Graduate Student Award, highlighting her academic achievement, dedication to clinical excellence, and commitment to supporting underserved communities. She has worked extensively with children and adolescents in outpatient clinic and school-based settings, supporting their emotional, social, and academic development. Hailey was involved in the launch and ongoing development of a therapeutic classroom serving Milwaukee youth as a part of an interdisciplinary team where she also designed and led a social-emotional learning curriculum for students.

Committed to continuous learning, Hailey has received training in self harm and suicide prevention, disordered eating, and elimination disorders. Hailey also completed training in somatic wellness using brainspotting, focusing on trauma-informed techniques for emotional processing and therapeutic interventions. Her experience includes working with children and adolescents living with anxiety, ADHD, depression, chronic and post-traumatic streshs, attachment concerns, and dysregulated behaviors that are often seen as anger, defiance, or opposition.

Outside of the therapy space, Hailey prioritizes balance, authenticity, presence, and connection. She strives to show up fully for the people she cares about, for life’s small joys, and for herself. That might look like getting lost in a good book, savoring a warm cup of tea, spending time with her inner circle, going on a long walk with her dog, or taking a moment to notice and honor the everyday, not-so-perfect moments that matter most.
